2024 market shares are now for sale!
Like a traditional CSA, our program is built on the foundation of sharing the harvest through pre-sold shares, providing 24 weeks of bountiful produce from May—October. Third Tree offers market-style CSA shares through weekend farmers' markets. Instead of a fixed-weekly produce box, credits are used at two markets throughout the season to select the variety of produce that you prefer.
How it works:
- Support the farm by purchasing a market share at the start of the season.
- In exchange, you are provided sustainable token credits to build your own CSA box.
- Select 4 to 7 Items from the the market stand with each $20 credit.
- With your purchase of a share, you benefit from season-long produce discounts.
- Use your credits all Saturdays and Sundays. May–October at two locations.
- Market shares come in three sizes.

Considerations to maximize your experience
- Your generous support is invaluable and plays a vital role in sustaining the farm.
- Like a traditional CSA share, there are a limited number available each season.
- Shares are available on a first-come first-serve basis, until sold-out.
- 1/2 shares and small shares include a 1/2 bushel produce box to transport your produce from the market.
- you have the ability to gain mix and match discounts with both tokens and other payment methods.
- The use of the credits at the farmers market requires some basic math skills.
- Use at least one credit per transaction to get the mix and match pricing.
- Lost tokens cannot be replaced individually at this time due to production constraints.
- Avoid lines and wait-times at the market by using the self-checkout booth.
- Visit the markets within the first two hours to ensure availability, as certain items may sell out towards the end.
- If you have scheduling constraints on most weekends, a traditional weekly box-style CSA might be a better option.
- Maple wood tokens are UV color-printed for durability, using non-toxic ink and materials.
Crop consistency statement.
- Providing you with a bountiful selection of fresh produce every week is the goal.
- Please note that weekly produce quantities may fluctuate due to factors like weather conditions and other production variables.
- When you invest in a market share, you're acknowledging and accepting the possibility of crop variations alongside the farm and fellow supporters.
